Gloaming Way, Beverly Hills
The renovation and redesign of this beautiful Spanish home in the Mulholland Corridor of Beverly Hills has brought in spaciousness and light. We tore out the original dark faux-wood floors and replaced them with white-washed oak. We replaced the heavy iron railing with modern glass, tore down some walls to open the flow of conversation, space, and light, then covered the walls in a soft powdery white paint. The kitchen was completely gutted and redesigned, a sleeping loft was designed and built into the child's room to double the usable space, and a library was designed and built into the mezzanine level, bringing what was previously a dead-space to life. The outdoor furniture was custom designed by us, taking inspiration from mid-century Brazilian designers and then catered to the exact needs of our client and the space.
This client has a light and generous spirit, and a great love of nature. We have truly enjoyed reflecting those qualities back to her in her home. We especially enjoyed designing her one-of-a-kind yoga room and yoga wall. On this page you'll find just a few detail shot for now, but we look forward to revealing full images of the project soon. We hope you'll stay tuned and enjoy.
